Welcoming Stephanie Shott in 2018!!

When asked to about her bio, she pointed me to her website and quickly added, "just tell them I’m a girl who Jesus saved in 1987 and I can’t get over the fact that He loves me and allows me to serve Him on this side of heaven." So that's the quick version and here's the formal -

Her latest book, The Making of a Mom is a popular all-in-one resource for MOMS & MINISTRY LEADERS that contains conversational questions at the end of each chapter and planning guides at the back of the book. And her Bible study on Ecclesiastes, Understanding What Matters Most, has become a favorite of women everywhere. She has also written articles and stories for P31 Woman Magazine, Pearls of Promise, MOPS International, Focus on the Family, (In) Courage, Southern Writer’s Magazine and in Rhonda Rhea’s new book, The P-Dub Club. Featuring in 2013:
National Speaker and Author Wendy Blight from Proverbs 31 Ministries

God has blessed Wendy Blight with a passion and giftedness to bring His Word alive. Consequently, the bulk of her messages and lessons share the specific Scriptures and prayers that have transformed her heart and home. They equip women to:

* Apply God’s Word in a way that makes it relevant and applicable to everyday circumstances
* Unpack Scriptures in a way that enables them to write powerful and effective prayers
* Gain victory over trials and struggles through faithfully praying the Scriptures

Wendy has authored a book and several Bible studies. Just days after her college graduation, she was attacked by a masked man hiding in her apartment. While physically she survived, she lived the next decade in a prison of fear, despair, and hopelessness. God and God alone healed her. Her story is now an amazing testimony of God’s strength in weakness, His hope in hopelessness, and His healing in brokenness. Wendy's book, Hidden Joy in a Dark Corner: The Transforming Power of God’s Story, recounts her journey of transformation from a prison of fear to freedom in Christ and offers a step-by-step walk through God’s Word to find physical, spiritual, and emotional healing.
